Suicide drones (UAVs), remote minelaying devices and T-90M tanks are Russia's most effective weapons in the special military operation in Ukraine.
According to Pravda, military expert Vasily Dandykin recently had an interview with Russian site Lenta. Mr. Dandykin listed the most effective weapons for the Russian military in Ukraine.
"The Lancet suicide UAV is the most effective weapon, they create a headache for the expensive air defense systems of the opponent," Dandykin said.
According to the Russian expert, the Ka-52 helicopter also has impressive performances in the special military operation. Versatility and endurance are the most appreciated elements of this helicopter.
As for the ground vehicles, Mr. Dandykin said that the Zemledelie minelaying device is performing beyond expectations. This vehicle allows Russian forces to set up dense defensive minefields from a safe distance. These minefields are one of the main reasons why the Ukrainian counter-offensive has not made much progress.
If only for armored vehicles, the T-90M Proryv tank has proven its powerful offensive ability. Besides, the improved T-72 tanks are not bad," Dandykin said.
Closing the interview, the Russian expert emphasized that anti-aircraft artillery systems are still the most important equipment in Ukraine. "We have Pantsir-M, which can intercept HIMARS missiles. Other complexes such as Tor and Buk-M3 are also very effective in dealing with air threats," said Mr. Dandykin.
